3 reasons i don’t like Convertkit
I hope you’re having a beautiful Wednesday morning, I know this morning where I’m at is beautiful because I’m actually recording today’s episode on Wednesday. The two podcast clients that I have, Dreevay in the dark, and Take Another 5 release on Wednesday, the first one every other Wednesday and the second one every Wednesday. I’ve been focusing on their work and forgot to get ahead of my podcast content, but that’s okay, since I’m going to record a few episodes today as I already started recording today’s episode before 6 o’clock in the morning!
Today, is all about the three reasons why don’t like Convertkit.
1. You need to modify the theme of the message to add a signature and can’t just go edit it in one place without having to modify code
For most users this isn’t an issue because once you figure out what you need to do then it’s easy. However, I’ve become spoiled with AWeber, and even though I’m not using them there are a few things I wish I could do. Most of today’s podcast is based on my direct comparison with AWeber, however trust me they are two totally different beast!
2. Your personalization codes are limited that i’ve found
Like AWeber, I would like to be able to add other personalization codes. Listen to the podcast you hear what I’m talking about, for example it would be nice to add some form of sharing with subscribers how they got on the list.It would be nice to have more personalization codes than just your first name and email address.
3. No Phone Support
It’s not a big thing however with the aforementioned company you have at least eight hours per day of phone support. That being said however, Convertkit does offer amazingly quick response time for email support, a very extensive help section, and fairly quick response time on Twitter as well. Though it doesn’t have phone support did You still have support. As this is the least impactful to a user in my opinion, that’s why it’s number three, however it sure would be nice to be able to pick up a phone and call someone when you have questions or would like some work done on your account.
All of these things being said however I really love the Convertkit platform, click here to check it out yourself
